a bit about me

My mission is to help individuals live a happier healthier life through exercise, nutritional guidance and improving their overall health and well-being. The aim is to create healthy, sustainable lifestyle habits to make it achievable and enjoyable long term, while achieving short term goals.

I have struggled with my mental health, eating habits and fitness over the years. These struggles have made me stronger and provided me with the experience and ability to overcome life’s challenges. My personal journey has fuelled me with the determination, passion and tools to make a lasting difference to individuals' lives.

For over 10 years, I have experienced the benefits of exercise on my mental and physical health. In the process, I have gained vast amounts of knowledge, qualifications and experience to allow me to help others. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to use my own personal and professional experience to give individuals the support and guidance to improve their own physical and mental health to enjoy a happier healthier life.

During my pregnancy in 2022, I qualified as a pre and post-natal personal trainer. I thoroughly enjoy helping pregnant woman and new Mums on their health and fitness journey.

Suzie's group fitness classes are tailored to suit a range of abilities so are accessible whatever your level of fitness. Classes are friendly and fun, with Suzie giving clear instructions as well as plenty of encouragement and guidance. She suggests modifications or alternative exercises if required due to injury or impairment. I wholeheartedly recommend joining one of Suzie's group fitness classes if you want to improve your fitness in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Been training with Suzie 6 weeks now. Loving it (thought I would hate it) doing morning sessions. She is so helpful, helping me with my fitness and weight loss journey. I feel so good, defo keeping it up. Used to go to the gym (not much) didn’t have a clue why I was doing an exercise for, she helps me understand what is what. Knows my limits, doesn’t push to hard she knows I can lift that heavier weight, do that extra rep and walk that extra bit. Even non training days, Susan messages me to see if I have been active, if I have eaten good, gives me really good advice and tips. I’ve been training with Suzie for around 8 weeks now by taking part in group sessions on a Monday, 1.1 on a Thursday and recently doing the Supple Strength class on a Tuesday. I’d really lost my way with fitness, was in a post lockdown slump and generally feeling miserable before I started. I’d tried to get into a routine myself but I just couldn’t find the motivation. Suzie has gone above and beyond to support me, get me stronger and back into a routine. I really enjoy the group sessions, they are great fun and although hard work the evening flies by with lots of laughing, I really enjoy the social side of it too. My 1.1 sessions have helped me to get so much stronger and now I’m starting to see the results I’m even more motivated to keep going. Not only has Suzie kept me motivated with her classes and sessions she’s also kept me on track with working towards my goal of running a weekly 5km under 25mins, I always receive an encouraging message on the morning and she even joined me at a recent Park Run. You will not find a better PT, Suzie has the perfect balance of encouragement and not letting you get away with excuses! Thanks so much for helping me find myself again :)
